I often use 'Chrome' if I am expecting to have 20 tabs open or something -- I must say, it's very good for this specific reason. However, I just discovered something a little disconcerting (to me) whilst testing a few things.

When you are a small business, you obviously have to be very careful about where you invest your time and your money.
Recently I have been looking at some further advertising opportunities -- definitely not paid links, but genuine advertising in industry-related portals -- and I came across one or two repeated scenarios that have me pulling my hair out.

My main core business interests relate to my conference organising website. My own company that I set up in Spain after emigrating several years ago from the UK.
In reality I have become an seo person and a marketing entrepreneur (inverted commas!) as oppose to a full time event planner (I use staff with far greater capabilities than myself in all fairness)and over the last 10 years or so this internet stuff has become one of my passions as much as anything else. If only they had PC'S when I was at school!
Through these avenues and interests I have built up a large network relating to both the events industry and the search industry.
What I really like at the moment is usability and analytics stuff. To see where pages can be improved, find niches that can become further income streams and giving the client what they are searching for is a great game to me and has led to several projects, which in turn adds more to my experience as both a 'businessman' 'and' a project developer.
