This week Rand offers a follow-up to last week's discussion of why niche sites with great content don't always pull in the rankings against more generic content on larger sites.

It's all about the links: big sites have 'em, small sites don't. So how can niche sites with quality content leverage that content to get links and, by proxy, rankings? They need a link hook. A way to make their content enticing not just to read, but to link to as well. In this video Rand describes several different types of link hooks that can work for any type of site.
