I just took a premium account with SEOMoz and saw the canonicalization video. It was impressive except the https part of it. It said that, for https try to redirect to http in case of bot and otherwise show the https page, as https pages are meant for users not for bot. Yeah, somehow I can agree but I still won’t recommend doing such a work ...
I am spending 15 hours per day digging the web gold mines from 2003 :). I am a maths grad with masters in Computer Application. Along with IT I have gone through classes of business administration from top business school. After getting training from top CEOs and corporate leaders, I worked for 5 years in a research environment. After researching and developing various web products like click fraud detection, community participation models, web analytic, financial community tools etc I shifted to service industry. Now I am helping many business owners with their web marketing. My new book will be on shelves soon.
