RE: Csv download from open site explorer
I have been running reports on linking root domains to compare with competitor sites.
In all cases the report download only contains a small subset of the report results.
As the results are linking root domains they should all be unique I think? So for example if there are 1,500 linking root domains in the report why are there only 400 (exact number) when I download?
For a competitor site there are 3000+ linking root domains and in the download only 300 (exact number)
The exact numbers are suspicious and suggest some kind of culling of the full report but I cannot see why this is. How can I download all of the linking root domains?

This post is not about finding and getting niche directory links or about getting guest posts. It is about going after the big fish. Whatever it takes to get the link from a big site, the basis will be an understanding of the website that you want a link from and its aims. In the same way as you need to understand a customer to sell something to them, in order to get a link from a website you need to understand that site incredibly well.
I have been working on SEO since 2005 and still feel like a beginner as there is so much to learn absorb and test. The other great thing about SEO is the community and the spirit of sharing knowledge and learning's to the benefit of all. I greatly enjoy working with my clients to help them achieve long term success for their businesses.
