Hi there,
I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on this...
I'm working with a client whose website is experiencing some odd organic traffic patterns.
See screenshot attached.
As you can see, there was a sudden cliff fall about a month ago, and then it recovered (almost) entirely.
Then, a month to the day later, the same thing happened again.
What is the likelihood that this is a data glitch vs an algorithm thing?
Any light you can shed on this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Marc

I have lost search SEO ranking for 4-6 core keywords while removing www from domain switch.
Referring domain: https://cashforscrapcarsydney.com.au/
Earlier the domain was in the format: https://www.cashforscrapcarsydney.com.au/
But when I checked the search result, search engines had not yet crawled to the new format. Let me know if the server change or any algorithm hit might cause it.
Also please share the feedback on - does removing www from the domain losses keyword ranking.
Helpful replies are needed.

I keep getting the following error "Getting ranking keywords failed. Please retry your search or refresh this page. " when using this tool.
It has been ongoing for a while and is getting really frustrating.
Any ideas?

Absolutely! Backlinks play a crucial role in SEO as they are like 'votes of confidence' from other websites. They indicate to search engines that your content is valuable and trustworthy. Moz's link analysis tools, such as 'Link Explorer,' provide insights into a website's backlink profile. This includes information about the number of backlinks, referring domains, spam score, and anchor text distribution.

Hi,
Moz( Also reported by GSC)have reported 403 crawl error on some of my pages. The pages are actually working fine when loaded and no visible issue at all. My web developer told me that some times error issues are reported on a working pages and there is nothing to worry about.
My question is, will the 403 error have bad consequences on my SEO/Page ranking etc.
These are some of the pages that have been reported with 403 error but loading fine:

Are there any tools that would help our agency track hundreds of websites against specific local search terms affordably.

Is it ok to have no h2 tags? There are no "keywords" relevant to the product in these example h2 tags. Also, is it ok to not have a PRODUCT DESCRIPTION header, or is it better with that header? It's for a "product page".
Examples:
<h1>Used Bow Front Desk With Mahogany Laminate</h1>
<h2 style="display:inline;">QTY:</h2> 3 - <h2 style="display:inline;">Manufacturer:</h2> Hon
<h2>Product Description:</h2>
<p>This bow front desk is in excellent condition. It has a beautiful mahogany laminate.</p>
OR (no h2 tags or product description header at all)
<h1>Used Bow Front Desk With Mahogany Laminate</h1>
<p>QTY: 3 - Manufacturer: Hon</p>
<p>This bow front desk is in excellent condition. It has a beautiful mahogany laminate.</p>
I prefer the last one as it's much simpler, but I'm curious if search engines would prefer the existence of h2 tags in the first version.
Thanks,
Todd

Our client's Magento website has been running for at least a decade, so has a lot of old legacy categories for Brands they no longer carry.
We're looking to trim down the amount of unnecessary URL Redirects in Magento, so my question is:
Is there a way that is SEO efficient to setup permanent redirects at a server level (nginx) that Google will crawl to allow us at some point to delete the categories and Magento URL Redirects?
If this is a good practice can you at some point then delete the server redirects as google has marked them as permanent?
