Locations

What’s covered?

This guide explains the Locations list in the Account section of your Moz Local account.

What is a location?

Location within Moz Local refers to any business location you manage within the tool.

Moz Local is location-based, meaning that any location (branch, business, entity, etc.) you’d like to manage within the tool will require its own subscription. For example, if your business has two locations (say, one in Seattle and one in Tacoma), you will need to purchase a subscription for each location in order to manage both within Moz Local.

You can manage multiple locations within the same Moz Local dashboard and account, but each location must be purchased separately to ensure we can properly manage data distribution.

Other examples of locations include:

  • A single location within your franchise structure

  • A customer you manage and create content for through your agency

  • A branch or location of a multi-location business

And more.

Each location you manage within Moz Local will be listed as a separate line item in your account's Locations view.
