Introduction to Shared User Permissions
Accessing Multiple Subscriptions
Shared user access has no impact on a Moz Community profile nor the ability for an assigned seat to start their own free trial or purchase a paid Moz Pro subscription.
If you have access to multiple subscriptions, like an active and shared subscription, you can access them from the drop-down menu from the Home page.
- Head to the Home page
- Choose an account to view from the drop-down
What can shared users access?
Shared Users (also called Seats) will have full access to Campaigns and research tools within the shared Moz Pro subscription.
Shared users will not be able to:
- Delete Campaigns
- Add or remove users
- Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel the subscription
- View or update account billing, invoicing, and subscription information
Manage Shared User Email Notifications
There are two ways to manage your Moz email notifications.
- Unfollow Campaigns from the Manage Your Campaigns page
- Adjust account wide Email Settings
To Unfollow Campaigns, follow these steps:
- Head to the Manage Your Campaigns page
- Uncheck the box in the Following column in the column on the right
To manage your account email preferences, following these steps:
- Select Account & Billing from the profile drop-down on the top right
- Click on Email Settings
- Ensure Reports for Moz Pro Campaigns you follow are ready is checked
Shared users receive the same emails as the primary account holder. This includes notifications any time a Campaign is created, archived or deleted as well as when reports for Campaigns they're following are ready. They'll also be notified of Q&A and blog post activity, as well as marketing and promotional information.
The only emails shared users will not get are those regarding password resets, billing related emails, and emails for one-off reports that the seated user has run, like a CSV from Link Explorer.
The primary account holder isn't able to edit email preferences for seated users.
