Explore Links With Your Moz Pro Campaign
Links are considered one of the biggest factors behind where you rank in a search engine. With the Links section of your Moz Pro Campaign you can uncover valuable prospects, create a solid strategy, and track your progress. To get started head to the Links section in your Moz Pro Campaign. You’ll see an Overview of your key link metrics and how they stack up with your competitors.

Link Metrics Chart
From your Moz Pro Campaign head to the Links section from the left navigation.
From the Links Overview chart you'll see your top level link metrics alongside your tracked competitors. These are the sites you added when you set up your Campaign and you can edit these from your Campaign Settings, if needed.
If a cell is marked in green, this indicates that the site marked has the highest score for that particular metric.
If any particular metric is blue within this overview chart, this indicates there is an associated section in Links where you can dig further into that data. Click the metric to head to the associated section.
Domain Authority Graph
Below the overview chart will be a graph illustrating your Domain Authority over time as compared to your competitors. This chart will show up to 12 months of data.
Hover over the graph to see your Domain Authority in any given month.
You can remove any of your tracked competitors from the graph by clicking them in the key below.
Linking Root Domains Graph
Next will be a Linking Root Domains graph which illustrates your Linking Root Domains count over the last 12 months. This graph will offer the ability to toggle between seeing only Followed Linking Domains or Total Linking Domains.
Hover over the graph to see your Linking Root Domains count in any given month.
You can remove any of your tracked competitors from the graph by clicking them in the key below.
External Links Graph
The External Links graph illustrates your External Link count over the last 12 months. This graph will offer the ability to toggle between seeing only Followed External Links or Total External Links.

You can remove any of your tracked competitors from the graph by clicking them in the key below.
Total Links Graph
The last graph will illustrate your Total Links count over the last 12 months as compared to your competitors.
Hover over the graph to see your Total Link count in any given month.
You can remove any of your tracked competitors from the graph by clicking them in the key below.
Follow vs Nofollow Data
Lastly, there will be a set of bar graphs comparing the percentage of your links which are follow and nofollow for your tracked site's internal and external links. If you are tracking competitors in your Campaign, each one will have its own set of Follow vs Nofollow bars and will be noted in a different color for easier data comparison.
Understanding Links Terminology
More definitions are available in our Glossary.
Total links - The total number of internal, external, follow and nofollow links.
Followed Links - Links that do not have a nofollow tag, these are crawled by the search engines.
Nofollow Links - Links that instruct crawlers not to follow links on a particular page or specific links. A nofollow directive can be added to a page or link on a page.
% of Total Links, External + Follow - This shows you the percentage of total links that are external and follow = [total external, followed links] / [total links].
External Followed Links - Links to the site from other sites that are followed (they do not have a "nofollow" tag added to the link.)
Internal, Followed Links - A link that goes from one page on a domain to a different page on the same domain, that are followed (they do not have a "nofollow" tag added to the link.)
External, Nofollowed Links - Links to the site from other sites, that have a nofollow tag, search engine crawlers not to crawl and index the site.
Internal, Nofollowed Links - A link that goes from one page on a domain to a different page on the same domain, that have a nofollow tag, search engine crawlers not to crawl and index the site.
Total Linking Domains - Number of unique root domains linking to a target. Two links from the same website will only be counted as one linking root domain.
Followed Linking Domains - The number of domains with at least one followed link to any page on the root domain.
