Review and Analyze Your Report
The On-Page Grader report analyzes 27 on-page SEO factors to give you a score out of 100 - the higher the better. Having a score of 100 doesn’t guarantee you’ll rank in the SERPs, but by covering the basics you're ensuring that humans and crawlers can understand what your content is about.
Within your On-Page Grader report you’ll see the following information.
- The Page Title parsed from the source code of the page
- The Meta Description parsed from the source code of the page
- A general overview of your report including the number of Keywords Found, Keyword Locations, and your overall Page Score
- Export your report to PDF
Below the report overview, you’ll see Factors associated with this page. This is a great way to quickly see what may be helping or hurting your on-page SEO efforts.
- The 27 factors used to grade the page will be broken down into 3 views - Hurting your score, Helping your score, and All factors
- Click the arrow to the right to expand issue for more information
- Learn more about why the flag is an issue and how to fix it
Critical items are placed up top while less critical items are placed lower on the list. Each factor will also have a marker beside it indicating the importance.
Red exclamation point - Indicates this factor is considered one of the most critical
Yellow exclamation point - Indicates this factor is considered the next most critical
Blue information bubble - Indicates this is a suggested item but is the least critical but still worth investigating
Green check mark - Indicates the page meets or exceeds the requirements for this factor
When you solve a suggestion it will move under the Helping your score tab. It’s important to note that all these factors are considered suggestions for how to better optimize your page. Their implementation and success is dependent on your overall SEO strategy and your site structure.
If you are working on your own or a client’s website you may want to track your progress with weekly updates through your Moz Pro Campaign in the Page Optimization section.
