Google Rankings — location level

The Google Rankings view and the data in this section will vary depending on whether you view it at the location or group/account level.

If you are viewing data from the location level, you will see data about the following:

  • Keyword Positions

  • Ranking Over Time

  • Keyword Ranking

  1. Average Position of Keywords — The average ranking position of your keywords for this location.

  2. Keywords in Position 1 — The number of keywords that appear in organic position 1 of the SERP for this location.

  3. Keywords in Local Pack — The number of keywords where your location is showing up in the Local Pack.

  4. Keywords in Top 10 — The number of keywords where you are ranking in the top 10 positions for this location.

  5. Rankings Over Time — This graph shows how your location has performed for your tracked keywords over time.

Below the Rankings Over Time graph, you will see a table of Rankings by Keyword, which includes the keyword, the prior ranking, and the latest ranking in the selected time period. Use this report to compare rankings over time and see how they have changed.

  • Location Distribution

  • Locations in Local Pack

  • Locations Ranked Over Time

In this section, the first chart you’ll see is the Locations Distribution chart. This chart shows the number of locations ranking in a particular position or group of positions, which are color-coded accordingly.

Next is the Locations in Local Pack chart that shows how many locations are ranking in the Local Pack.

The Locations Ranked Over Time graph shows how many locations ranked in a specific group of positions over time.

Next, the Location Distribution by Keyword table shows an overview of how location keywords are ranking.

Lastly, the Keyword Ranking by Location table shows each location along with its keywords and where those keywords are specifically ranking in Google.
