Get Reviews

Learn how to use the Get Reviews feature of Moz Local.

We understand reviews' critical role in enhancing business visibility and SEO. ‘Get Reviews’ empowers you to collect first-party feedback and third-party reviews at scale efficiently, increasing the volume and recency of reviews, which are key factors in search rankings. With Get Reviews, you can seamlessly reach out to your customers across all or individual locations without leaving the platform.

To start collecting reviews via email, follow these simple steps:

1. Navigate to the Reviews product and select the "Get Reviews" tab in the left-side menu bar.
2. Create a new campaign by clicking the “+New Email” button.
3. Set up your email by naming your campaign and selecting your recipients.
   • You can upload a file of contacts using a CSV file
   • If you’re a Surveys customer, you can also select existing contacts that were previously imported.
4. Craft your email message. Once finalized, click “Next.”
   • Choose an Email Message Template from the “Select a Template” drop-down to save time.
   • Add emojis and dynamic tags to personalize the email.
   • Use the “Call to Action Link” to include an external link. You may include URLs from Location Details by using dynamic tags.
5. Review and Send. Double-check your email details, recipients, and message, then click “Send Email.”

Confirmation: Once sent, a green confirmation message will appear in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. 

Your email campaign will now be listed in the emails section!

To monitor your campaign's performance, follow these steps:

1. Locate Your Campaign: Find your email in the email list and click “View Recipients” under the Actions section.
2. Track Email Status
   • View a detailed list of recipients, as well as their email and opt-in status.
     • Email Statuses Tracked: not yet sent, sent, opened, or clicked. 
     • Note: The system automatically tracks opt-outs to ensure emails are not sent to those who have unsubscribed.
