Deleting Labels From Your Campaign
If you no longer need a label that is currently in your Campaign for any of your keywords, you can remove it by clicking Manage Labels. This will take you to your Campaign Settings where you can add and remove labels from your Campaign.
To completely remove a label from your Campaign within your Campaign Settings, select the label you’d like to remove using the check boxes on the left and then click Delete on the top right. Deleting a label via your Campaign Settings will also remove it from all the tracked keywords currently labeled with that particular label.
Please note: Removing keyword labels is permanent. If you accidentally delete a label from your Campaign Settings, you will need to recreate the label by clicking Add Label and then apply it to each previously labeled keyword. For more information on adding labels to your keywords, please see our Add Keyword Labels guide.
Removing Branded Labels
Keywords are labeled as Branded automatically based on your Brand Rules. If you find that a keyword is labeled as Branded incorrectly or you do not wish that keyword to be counted towards your Branded keywords statistics, you can remove the Branded label.
There are 2 ways you can remove Branded labels from your tracked keywords. The first is to follow the steps outlined above for Removing Labels. This method is the only way to remove the Branded label from keywords automatically labeled by your Brand Rules.
The second is to remove the label via the Keyword Exceptions section in your Campaign Settings. This method can be used when you have tagged additional keywords outside your Brand Rules as Branded.
Within your Campaign Settings, you can see all the keywords you have labeled as Branded manually. To remove the Branded label from any of these keywords, click the x beside the keyword.
